For twenty years I grew up in foster care. In an ideal world, this situation, which was initially temporary, would have been resolved at the end of the contract. But fifteen years after the end of the placement, alongside Gisèle, my mother, Marie-Thérèse, my foster mother, and Jessica, who has now become a mother herself, I ask myself: what is a mother?
