On an island in the Balearics, three monstrous dogs are holding a group of teenagers captive inside the swimming pool of a luxury villa they broke into. Despite their cries for help, no one comes to their rescue: all the residents of the neighbourhood are gathered in a nearby villa to celebrate the start of summer. It is San Juan’s eve, a day propitious for magic.
